The Open Society Foundations–Western Balkans (OSF-WB), mandated by the Government of Albania as the current holder of the Presidency of the Berlin Process, and in collaboration with the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and with the Cooperation and Development Institute (CDI), is organizing this year’s Civil Society & Think Tank Forum 2023 (CSF 2023).

Fond otvoreno društvo BiH najoštrije osuđuje nasilje organizovano protiv građana i aktivista civilnog društva u Banja Luci, istovremeno pozivajući sve institucije, posebno policijske, tužilačke i sudske vlasti u Republici Srpskoj, na hitnu reakciju, te procesuiranje i sankcionisanje svih odgovornih. Dokument analizira mjere koje se trebaju realizovati s ciljem suzbijanja energetskog siromaštva u BiH.
Energetsko siromaštvo je jedan od velikih i rastućih društvenih problema u BiH. Liberalizacijom energetskog tržišta došlo je do značajnog porasta cijena energenata, a što značajno otežava socijalnim kategorijama stanovništva pristup osnovnim energetskim uslugama potrebnim za normalne životne uslove (rasvjeta, grijanje, hlađenje, kuhanje i dr.).
Domaćinstva pogođena energetskim siromaštvom ne mogu sebi da priušte rekonstrukciju postojećih objekata uz mjere energetske efikasnosti, zamjenu dotrajalih energetski neefikasnih električnih uređaja, primorana su da koriste neadekvatne sisteme grijanja koji su veoma često štetni po zdravlje i okolinu.

Inicijativa "30 godina" pružila je perspektivu za tri decenije, 1991–2021, prisustva i rada Fondacije otvoreno društvo (OSF) na Balkanu. Ispitivala je kako su jedinstveni filantropski napori Georgea Sorosa, njegove ideje i filozofija otvorenog društva istrajali tokom burne novije istorije regiona i kako je taj rad i dalje pokretačka snaga, živa i aktivna.
Inicijativa "30 godina" sastoji se od dvije komplementarne komponente: virtuelnog obilaska sa sedam prezentacija/ diskusija o regionu, od kojih je svaka ponudila poseban pogled na 30 godina – Virtual Momentum – i knjige "30 godina".

While the call is opened to all applicants, priority is given to candidates from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Spain.

In summary, the potential fellows will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in a kick-off workshop during which they will attend master classes and get advice on their individual research projects;
- Receive research guidance from experienced academics and policy experts for the entire duration of this project;
- Visit Kosovo and spend several days in data collection, interviews and meeting Kosovar policy makers and civil society as well as the other fellows;
- Draft and publish a policy brief tackling pressing issues that will receive wide publicity in the EU countries and the Western Balkans';
- Receive remuneration for their research and publicity work at the total amount of 3,000 EUR;
- Disseminate findings in both EU countries and the Western Balkans through various public events, dissemination acts, networking activities that are part of KFOS projects;
- Become members of an exciting new group of up and coming researchers who will devise creative and novel ideas for future research focusing on Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
